The big day

Today was a birthday day for blessing #3, she turned six today. Her cake is in the previous post. Birthdays at our home begin with the birthday person opening their presents.

  1. Oh the pictures are grand. We are going to try to adopt some of your birthday practices. We will still have the party for our extended family. DH thinks that as long as they want to come, then we should do one. So, we are going to eliminate the friends party that causes so much stress for me. Next month is my baby's 6th birthday. I'll let you know how it goes. Thank you for your example.

  2. Happy Birthday to your little one! How special to let her choose what you all are doing on her day. I love the idea that in North Pole you all have cool weather. I bet it snows soon, or has it already? Is it winter for you all now?

    Blessings, MamaK
