A Snowshoe Hare

Levi disappeared out with the camera the other day. He saw this snowshoe hare in the yard.

A Well Traveled Day

Thursday morning this very spoiled home educating Mommy got up much earlier than normal to fly the friendly skies. I had an appointment in Anchorage with an endocrinologist. It was a beautiful day for flying.

I was kind of worried when I saw this well used equipment, but the doctor was great. One of the office ladies thought I looked like Princess Leia (I had to google this for the correct spelling, we are not star wars people). She was a hoot, she had a southern accent so that made her even more precious. I am fine, just monitoring.

While I waited I took a picture of my Mother’s Day pedicure before it was gone.
101_3723
I didn’t think to get a better picture but from most places in Anchorage you have a grand view of the Chugach Mountain Range, splendid.

More in flight pictures.

After I returned home we headed out to a baseball game. Benjamin brought his own equipment for baseball. When he would miss he would say “I missed” He is growing up so quickly.

Cheering Bubba on! Go Twins!

Playing in the sand pile with a little friend. He was covered. I had to take his clothes and shoes off and shake them out before putting him in the van. He had a blast.

Benjamin’s First Picnic

Today was a warm one and the warm weather made me think picnic, then I thought that Benjamin had never experienced a lunch time picnic. The Older Blessings thought a picnic was a great idea and each one got busy gathering and preparing.
101_3707
We loaded up a laundry basket and Levi’s garden cart was used to transport. Lunch was simple…crackers, cheese, ham, apples and dried fruit and homemade lemonade.

Beautiful Days

We are having the most beautiful days…sunny, warm, breezy just when you need it.
I am enjoying…..

  • hanging laundry on the clothes line
  • listening to the kids outside
  • watching from my swing
  • open windows
  • watching baseball practices and games

Soon I will be…..

  • planting vegetables
  • planting flowers

Pure Bliss.

Mother Daughter Tea

Saturday morning the while the guys headed off to the ball field, the girls got all dressed up and went to the annual Mother/Daughter Tea at church.

Here are the girls.

A friend of mine and I created this fruit display for the tea. I was thankful for the opportunity to get to do something like this. I haven’t had much time to do some of these creative joint ventures with my dear friend.

Just a few random pictures of the girls enjoying the tea.

Baseball

Levi is playing Pony League baseball this summer. Saturday was the annual dust off tournament, in which the kids play about four or five games all day.

Here is Levi before leaving for his game.

He took this of himself on the way home. He was one worn out boy, and sun kissed as well.

We all got a good dose of vitamin D on Saturday.

Off the Field

Oh, my wonderful husband is so great to keep a two year old occupied at the baseball field for about seven hours.

After the girls and I arrived we were all playing with Benjamin.

I love those two year old laughs.
