Salmon Quiche

We have been eating quite a bit of Copper River red salmon lately. We had salmon for dinner the other night so tonight we had Salmon Quiche (using the salmon leftovers), which we have not had for quite some time and it was delicious as usual. I can say that because it isn't my recipe.
I use fresh salmon leftovers instead of the caned salmon listed in the recipe and I use whole wheat pastry flour instead of all purpose. Good stuff, I tell ya!

  1. This sounds so good! I am orginally from the pacific northwest and now out east. Love Salmon! But I am interested in the recipe for another reason. We get a ton of canned salmon in our church food pantry ( donated and through the food bank). I am always on the lookout for recipes our clients can use. This one is very basic ( the ingredients). I will be trying it this week!
BTW I enjoy your blog! The kids love your weather and daylight reports.

  3. Looks yummy.

I have all but banned canned salmon ;) It is ok in a pinch, but it only takes 15 extra minutes to pull a fillet out of the freezer, thaw it, saute it, and flake it up.
