The daylight hours are increasing daily. February can be very cold or it can be mild, depends upon the year. Come March the daylight hours are such that the days are warmer even if it is cold at night...as my wonderful husband says, "we have winter whooped now". April comes break up and the hope of green, which generally comes in May, although some years the end of May.
I still don't know how you do it. But I'm sure it's so pretty up there. Glad your days are getting longer. :)

Winter is whooped here too! Well, not really. FEB is our snowiest and coldest month. But I am going with your husband's attitude. And I am thankful that FEB is the shortest month of the year!
ReplyDeleteDoes Texas "REALLY" have winter? I am pretty sure that made you laugh. It got chilly today. ;) The low when we got up was 36. Spring time for you, I am sure!
ReplyDeleteI will stop complaining now about our unusual ( this year only) long cold winter! We have had the coldest here in 23 years but nothing like the far north!
ReplyDeleteAs I called it for four years, "break down" ha!ha! As Otis would say, "Poor Pa-Pa!"
