This week our FIAR book is
We are going to lapbook with this book this week. We have only made a couple of lapbooks and I seem to be the make your own (I think I am just cheap, we'll just say frugal). Speaking of lapbooks, look here she has a virtual cornucopia of lapbooking links. I plan on checking some of these out tonight after the blessings go to bed.

Thank you for your kind comment left today. I certainly need encouragement! I loved using FIAR during Kindergarten with my first born blessing. I need to revisit those books with last born blessing who is ready for it. Thanks for the reminder.

We read this book 3 years ago when we did FIAR. Since we are from Kansas, we see the "mountains" all the time. My kids still refer to the grain elevators as Kansas Mountains! Enjoy!!
