Year in Review

Kelli has had a fun idea. Posting a year in review type post. The concept: post the first line from the first post of each month and a picture if you like.

Here is mine:

~January~

We made it into the new year very quietly.

  2. Fantastic cakes too. I was just thinking, how did you stay warm in minus 40? Also, are these moose antlers your husband is holding? Curious.

  3. actually called "North Pole." Wow. That is cool. And I typed that before it dawned on me that it is doubtless literally cool. I'll be checking back for your tour... hope everyone is over the illness.

And, BTW, we actually did make buckeyes here, half a batch. Yum. My Miss Dance was just in heaven over them.

  6. Oh My! 40 below and no electricity!! 40 BELOW??!! Now I know why the Lord hasn't led me to Alaska. I get tired of putting on all the coats, gloves and such when it's in the 20's around here! Ha Ha I hope this year finds you snug and warm.

  9. Hi,

it's Lynn (your favorite Collins sister).

I just checked out your blog and I love

it. You definately have a talent for this

sort of thing. For Kayla's hope chest I

reccomend a picture and possibly a note

from each of her grandparents and great-

grandparents. These would mean a lot

to her in the future when they are no longer

with us. You know I got her mother her hope

chest on her 16th birthday and I'm so happy

you are doing this for Kayla.
