We took these pictures of the kids and then we were kicked out of this exhibit….no signs, doors wide open, but it was drop off for something or another. Fairbanks is often very unorganized, ugh!

Then we found the funnel cakes, one of our favorites. I skipped the Denali Cream puffs since I learned how to make my own whole wheat cream puffs!

  1. What? No pictures of fair food you ate? tee, hee! We are supposed to go to our state fair next week. There is nothing like a fair. Do you all have those crazy vendors selling deep fried coke?

  2. Jenn, only the funnel cake got pictures but we had pulled pork sandwiches, curly fries, corn dogs, pretzels, slushies, cotton candy, oh my. I didn't eat all of that but that is what our collective family ate! No deep fried coke that I saw, how would you do that? We do have the deep fried twinkies and candy bars though, never tried those though.

  4. Fun! Now I want a funnel cake! I've never seen such big cabbages either. I guess they'll try to grown anything BIG!
