The Blessings and I were able to ride out on the river with the charter service while they checked on their customers. I cannot believe we were able to do this and that the guys were on a fishing spot that was safe enough for us to stay and visit for a while. Most spots are on a much steeper slope.
After this day of fishing we had dinner and headed home the following morning.
On Saturday morning the salmon processing began.

These kids have been packaging meat and fish for so long that they are quite the little experts.
Our dinner Saturday night. Fresh, never frozen red salmon, salad from the garden and peas from a local garden that were shared with us. Talk about yummy!
