  1. WHAT A CUTIE!!! I love that face - can't belive your baby is that big already - how fast they grow up.

And look, a new blog look - I had to do a dbl. take to make sure I was at the right place.

Feeding raw for at least now, in the hungry puppy stage, costs a bit more than a bag of the expensive ($50) dog food. If I found a cheaper way to get meat or if we hunted, it would be cheaper. The chicken necks are cheap, but the bone marrow bones cost me a bit more than I'd like to pay. BUT, then if you consider no vet bills and the dog living longer, then in the long run it's a lot cheaper.

On the dog ringing the bell, we have always had a piece of leather hanging from our inside door knob with 2 large jingle bells attached. It started out as more of a security system to know if our little girls were going to attempt to go out the door, but I liked it there and now our dog just on it's own decided it was i good way to tell us she wants out. She just automatically goes up to the bell and nudges it with her nose. We didn't have to train her to do it. (Leonbergers are known to use their noses for a lot of things). Unfortunately she likes to jump up too and jumps up against our side-door window when she wants in. I'm afraid after a while our glass is going to look scratched. I was just saying today that we will have to teach her to ring the doorbell, but then again, wouldn't that be annoying. lol I better come up with another plan.

You have a good weekend too. It's so nice that the days are getting longer and the sun is warmer again. I have spring fever.

  5. My toddler climbs a lot. She was just standing on the table the other day. And she loves to climb up on the back of the couch and launch herself off. And myriads of other days. It's an age filled with a lot of prayers for safety.
