We stopped at the parking lot of a church where we know the Pastor and camped there. They generously allow us to sleep in their parking lot and use the facilities inside their church. After breakfast and visiting with our friends we were off for the last leg of our journey.

Here he was casting Judith’s pole after working on her pole and he caught the first fish of the trip. So, he still gets to fish.

A beautiful day in Valdez creates what they call afternoon chop. Well, we finally got all of our ducks in a row and out to fish during afternoon chop. My husband and I were questioning ourselves for taking the crew out in a small boat but once were were at the fishing spot things were calm and sunny. Only one fish was caught that first trip out.
