Flooding

I am having to walk lightly around this subject these past few days as blessing #2 is quite concerned with weather related natural disasters lately and very concerned we will have a flood due to all the rain we have had lately. Well, there is flooding in our area just not right here where we live. We have some friends who are out of state right now who have a home that is close to flooding. Please pray for them at this time. The rain has subsided for today and the sun is actually out at our house so I pray that the weather is the same out their way as well. Their home has been sandbagged by co-workers of the husband and seems to be in good hands being supervised at this point. The flood danger should pass in the next day or two, depending upon the weather.

  1. Thanks for remembering us in your prayers. I talked to Glenna today and learned about the flooding. I had no idea were flooding and that the guys were protecting my house! What a great bunch of men!

    Mike is trying to fly home from Korea. I will be home in a week and half. I will continue to pray for you and for your surgery.

    Hugs!

  2. What an absolutely terrible cyber friend I've been :( I haven't checked on you in so long and I didn't realize all that was going on in your life. Bless your heart - your plate is full. I'm so sorry to hear of your cancer diagnosis but am praising the Lord with you that it seems they'll be able to take care of it. You will be in my prayers during surgery. I'm sure this is a difficult time. May the third trimester be uneventful! {{hugs}}
