Two weeks ago our build was the Taj Mahal, then that Sunday we had a missionary from India at church. I love that kind of thing, you should have seen Blessing #3's face when she saw the Taj Mahal on the slide show.
Last week was the Curriculum Fair so no build...Mrs.L did come and she and the Blessings made cupcakes and since it was 75 degrees we took a tromp through the trees to see a beaver house that the Blessings found and then we sat on the swing and chatted ( a really good day)
Baby Blessing needed some clothes so we found some at a garage sale and a local online for sale board...total cost of everything you see here? $31.50 (found by my husband)
Yes, we don't use our "school desk" inside, we use it outside!! My husband may use it for something later on but for now it holds my laundry basket!
Our Baby Blessing is growing so quickly, he now has wheels. He can't go anywhere but he now has wheels!
Having older siblings is great...listening to a little history.
This week's build was the Mayflower.
But, the higlight of the week was this:
Do you recognize this woman? Yep, you guessed it Alaska Governor Sarah Palin was in Fort Yukon today checking out the flooding on the Yukon River, guess who was also in Fort Yukon today? Yep, my wonderful husband, he took this picture and then had someone else take this one.
Sarah Palin is the real deal Alaskan, see that dirt on her shoes? You can't wear high heels where she traveled to today.
May the Lord find us faithful.
Oh my! Wow! You have a famous husband. That's so neat. Looks like life is full and wonderful up north for you all.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful Mother's Day!
