We went for a leaf collecting walk that ended up taking us to the mailbox as while we were outside we saw the mail lady heading toward our mailbox. Oh, yeah, football is involved in almost everything we do at this time of year.
Almost to the mailbox, these two never hold hands, I thought that was precious.
After the walk, I sat down on the swing to rest and sort through the mail, the blessings were not as worn out as Mom so they continued on with physical education and played monkey in the middle on the trampoline. Note the football, again.
We then went inside to make crayon rubbings of our leaves and do a little leaf studying inside, but you will have to pop over to Alaska Nature to read more about that.
May the Lord find us faithful.
Oh my...those pics are beautiful! Makes me that much more anxious for fall. The castle below that you all made is too cute!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful background! Your leaves really are turning. Do you have to pack up your trampoline for winter? Ours is outside year round, but it is starting to wear. Wish there was an easy way to protect it better. Thanks for the update. I'll pop over and see your nature blog after I vacuum the stairs.

and our trees will probably look similar. Right now they are still more green than yellow, but it is supposed to freeze possibly on Friday. I love your pics.

Sounds like great fun! We have a sign that says "We interrupt this family for football season." Unfortunately, with Brady out in the first week, it doesn't look like it'll be much of a season. But I digress...lol Just wanted to say hello!
