Getting Ready For Thanksgiving

I try to break down the baking and cooking and do as much ahead of time as I can.

On Monday evening, Elisabeth and I made pie crust.

On Tuesday, Judith, Elisabeth and I made pumpkin roll, or at least the cake part. They made the filling on Wednesday.

Happy Thanksgiving!! Here I am emptying the dishwasher for the second or third time of the day? Not sure.

  3. Hi Melissa, What a pretty Christmas look your blog has. HAPPY THANKSGIVING (& Birthday)! Looks like you put on quite the spread. How many did you have at your house? Did you have turkey, ham, or moose??? Hope you had a wonderful week. It looks like you are in the deep freeze again. It always makes me feel warm when I come visit you. Have a good weekend!

    1. Jane,
I decided to do a little decorating for the blog.
We had about 17 here including our crew of 6.
We had ham and turkey, the turkey was raised by our friend's daughter and son last summer. He was a big 25 lb. fella!
