The rolls that I linked to last week and mentioned in my review of the week's meals are not my favorite. I may try them one more time, or maybe not.

Under the Table on Monday Morning
Elisabeth works better if she has her feet on something, usually this ball. Judith is a leg swinger and my boy? He pretty much keep has quiet feet.

Weekly Menu Review
Sunday-- I forgot the salt in the rolls, bleech, bleech, bleech!! The same recipe is rising on the kitchen counter so we shall see how they are with salt.
Monday--The Blessings cooked and it was delicious, but I have already mentioned that.
Tuesday--I made vegetable moose soup, I love that soup
Wednesday--Dinner was almost a complete failure, we didn't care for the meatloaf or the crockpot mac and cheese
Thursday--We stayed in town too long and went starving to Sam's Club for pizza
Saturday--Steak Dianne was okay, I ended up not using this recipe but a different one.
Fall Friday
Photos from a Friday at home
Carrots that were hiding in the garden
One of the big potatoes
A wall tent drying out from moose season
Aggressive four wheeler tires
Gathering leaves
to make a leaf pile
The first two components of the weather center
An evening ride to see if we could find lowbush cranberries or ducks.
We stopped here to look for ducks, they were there but not in my photo
The eyes of a hunt, always looking
See the bush in the water? It is being dragged by a beaver.
Here it goes
and goes
That small dark dot up off of the gravel is a moose but it moved on by the time we got closer

I Love These Children of Mine
In Which Benjamin Starts Frontline Clubs
Oh my, our little guy is growing up so quickly. Benjamin started his first year of Frontline Clubs, he is a Scout. Elisabeth started her last year of Frontline Clubs…oh, they keep on growing.
Making a Barometer
The Blessings are learning about and observing the weather. Today we made a barometer for measuring air pressure. It will not be able to stay outside long due to freezing temperatures but we shall see what we can learn while we can. Maybe the barometer can live inside the house and instead of measuring rain we will start measuring snow. I read a couple of local facebook status updates that mentioned snow but I haven't seen any snow.

Monday in Photographs
The blur of Benjamin. Learning to get dressed by himself, he still needs help with socks sometimes.
Shirt going over his head
Oh, that face!
All dressed and ready for the chores with his brand new chore pack.
Why yes, that is a bear skull on the bookshelf behind Benjamin, thanks for asking. Don’t you have bear skulls around your house?
Putting new bags into the trash cans in the bathroom
Feeding Emmy
Gardening is over, frost has taken over. I was not ready for gardening to be over, everything was harvested except potatoes, which we will harvest this weekend.
The Brussels sprouts for the Queen and her family did not get enough time to reach maturity, I was hoping.
Reading
Levi browning his New England pot roast for dinner. Yes, it is moose meat.
Elisabeth made corn muffins, she is seriously double checking that recipe.
The Blessings cooked dinner today using recipes from Massachusetts and Connecticut as a part of our Trailguide to Learning curriculum.
Levi made New England pot roast
Elisabeth made corn muffins
Judith made Boston baked beans
I added smashed potatoes, made from leftover baked potatoes, and gravy. If they were to be graded by taste they would all get an A+! That was one yummy dinner.
View #1 which shows the beans and smashed potatoes
View #2 showing off the carrots and roast and corn muffin
