Often times these trips to the lower 48 involve the Blessings and I leaving a week or so ahead of time to optimize the cost of tickets and to spend a bit more time with family.
After Daddy flew in we began the first of two road trips. This trip was to visit family in North Carolina. Cousins!!!!
The cousins that live in North Carolina were thrilled to have older cousin Levi there to drive them around on the golf cart for hours on end.
The trusty driver
Benjamin didn’t want anything to do with the golf cart so he played in the dirt with another little cousin.
Bubbles and dirt playing!
The family arranged for us to stay at this cabin with a beautiful lake view and they all came to us for a cookout. Great times visiting with family here.
Cousins!
Later that evening the immediate family converged on the grandparents yard for a fire with hot dog roast and smores.
It is always fun to throw rocks into the creek.
Or sit with your cousin next to the creek.
Smores!
Such fun!!
ReplyDeleteOh, those chairs! Rustic! Charming! And I love sticky marshmallows, although, I am not packing any to go camping and I hope my kids don't shoot me. LOL.
ReplyDeleteWow, looks and sounds like such fun. :)
