After we woke up on Saturday my husband calls from outside the camper that friends of ours just pulled up. He is a jokester so I do not always know if he is being funny or serious. Well, he was serious. We had camping neighbors!
Here is Levi and his friend down on the shore not catching fish. The tide wasn’t right or something like that.
The girls coming down to join the boys.
It was Judith’s day to wear the chest waders, Levi has outgrown these.
Levi on a fishing break
Benjamin fishing with Daddy.
Benjamin fishing with Mommy. Short sleeves in Valdez, crazy good weather.
The beginning of a fire, boys, hatchets, and fire-- a natural go together.
Benjamin and a s’mores after we got him wrangled, bibbed and out of the chocolate bars.
Judith trying to learn the fine art of marshmallow roasting.
Benjamin and an unroasted marshmallow.
After they had s’mores they had to pop the jiffy pop pop corn.
A visiting bird.
Just a scenery shot.
The boys walking along the beach before the tide came in, looking for lost lures and other treasures. I think they came back with flat rocks and feathers.
Getting the fire back up for the crew before they got back from their last fishing of the evening. I loved having a campfire this time.
Love the waders! And those flowers are awesome too. :-)
