We finally pulled out of our driveway at 10:15 PM...what you ask? Why so late? Well, it was a very busy week for our family and there wasn't any time to do things like load the camper and pack. So, we crammed two days of work into a day and then we pulled out after my husband had worked all day.

Watching a movie in the back seat. Look out the windows of the truck, darkness.
The farther south the more darkness. It wasn't completely dark, the sky still had some light but it was as dark as we had seen in a while.
We drove about three hours and then found a place to pull over and sleep. Thankful for that camper and the ease of pulling over to sleep in a warm, dry camper.
Oh wow! A fun family trip! So beautiful up there. God really knew what He was doing when He made Alaska!!!
