This week about all I have the mental energy for are the necessary jobs. I am enjoying the simple jobs of laundry, weeding and grass mowing. You know, the things you do not need to think about. Next week, I will focus on preparing for the upcoming school year so I am saving the thinking for next week!
The zucchini
This one will be ready to eat soon. Some people let them grow very large but I like to let them get to a good ready size and enjoy them a little smaller.
Potatoes
Levi’s corn
Lettuce
Judith’s pumpkin plant
The broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower and Brussels sprout rows
The green beans, not the best year for these so far, time will tell.
A view of the entire garden.
The beginning of broccoli
Tomatoes, I counted 21 tomatoes on the vine the other day.
I love your garden. It's a real garden! I know what you mean about thinking and not having to think. When do you start your school year this year?
ReplyDeleteWe are starting our school year in July, I had planned to keep plugging along but we got side tracked with summer.
ReplyDeleteLooks great. We like making zucchini brownies, yum. :)

Oh, looks like you are going to have a delicious harvest soon! I keep saying every year to build some raised beds and plant a garden, but I never get to it.
