Just a Quick Sunday Night Check In

Saturday evening we had the burgers I posted about here. Just wanted to report that they are delicious and my only change was having them with mooger (ground moose) instead of ground beef. If you enjoy those white castle or krystal type burgers you will enjoy these at home. This might be my new go to burger recipe since it is cooked in the oven in a 9X13 pan, no baby sitting the stove top.

  1. I really thought about making these, minus the onions. Did they splatter the oven very much. Probably not with your lean moose!

  2. I think the onions made these. I put a little olive oil under a bit on top of the meat but not much splattering.

  3. I tried these too, using the 80/20 mix she suggested. They tasted great, but shrunk in my pan way too much. I think I'll try a meat that has less fat in it next time. But it was yummy regardless. Thanks for the link. :)
